is held in the New
Mexico Tech Gym, Room 1 on Monday
nights during the Fall and Spring semesters
from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM.
Juniors and New Mexico Tech students
participate for free. For others, donations
are accepted to help cover the cost of

Civilian Marksmanship Program School
The Socorro Gun Club hosts CMP schools
approximately eight times a year at our
range south of town. A reduced National
Match Course is fired at 100 yards.
This school will count for the marksmanship
requirement to purchase rifles from the CMP.
The cost for Juniors (under 21) and NMT
students for the CMP schools is $5.00. The
cost for other CMP shooters is $20.00. You
must attend an Air Rifle Practice before
shooting at a CMP school.
